Raik Krotofil, born in 1971, is a landscape photographer from Germany.

Being outdoors in nature and feeling the wind blowing, sensing the light of the rising sun, and hearing the birdsong is for Raik a little adventure of everyday life and a source of relaxation at the same time.

He pays respect to his subjects and strives to capture and convey his experiences in his photos.

Raik prepares for his photo tours with his uncompromising passion for optimal light and the perfect moment. He plans his photo tours meticulously – because the right lighting often takes only a few moments to create a picture with a unique atmosphere. He is not only concerned with technical perfection, but above all with capturing emotions that reflect the character of a place.

Raik has been using Haida filters in his landscape photographs for many years. They are his tool for shaping light.

Raik has been a speaker and leader of photo workshops and photo tours for over 13 years. Numerous publications in photography magazines and his own book are milestones in his CV.
