The first photo from my trip with Thomas Weber — taken during the very last sunrise of our Haida Autumn Tour 2025 through Central Europe. The conditions couldn’t have been more perfect. I’ve never witnessed a sunrise like this at this location before — truly one of the best moments of my entire career.

For this shot, I used a 20-second exposure, something that wouldn’t have been possible without the Haida Red Diamond ND 1.8 filter.

Location - Uttakleiv Beach in Lofoten, Norway

I took this photo because I wanted to capture the moment when the sea and the rocks stop being just a landscape and turn into a calm, almost motionless scene. The long exposure smoothed the water so it looks like a soft mist wrapping around the stones, and the gentle sunset light highlighted their shapes and textures. I wanted to show that quiet moment nature gives you for only a few minutes before the color fades and the waves return to their own rhythm.

Flying Clouds
The Toronto skyline always captivates, but this morning was particularly stunning. As dawn broke, the clouds performed a breathtaking display above the city. Fiery hues illuminated both the sky and Lake Ontario, creating a mesmerizing scene. I knew it was the perfect moment to utilize my powerful Haida ND filters to capture the incredible cloud formations.
