Haida Picture Appreciation | August 2024

This month's photography theme is "Beauty of Nature", let's appreciate some amazing photos taken by our excellent official Haida Ambassadors with Haida filters!

Photos taken at Ponta de São Lourenço, Madeira, Portugal. The true aim of these shots was to capture the same composition under varying exposure times, each an attempt to unveil the full splendor of the breathtaking sky I was fortunate enough to witness that day.

A beautiful morning in the Swiss mountains with some glowing clouds before sunrise. To get a better reflection from the mountains in the lake you can use a polarizer. I mostly use the magnetic one because this one is easily mounted and absolutely light weight.

Shark’s Tooth Beach takes around 12 hours by land and sea from Jakarta to accommodation in Kiluan Bay.

After arriving at the accommodation, we are required to exchange vehicles for vehicles that can traverse winding, rocky and uphill roads.

Until the location, all the efforts will be paid off with the exotic shark's tooth beach with towering coral rocks and very large waves adding to the dramatic side of the photo.

The photo is entitled “ICE CUBE” and was taken in Iceland, at the so-called Diamond Beach.

I used the ND 0.9 drop-in filter for the photo to extend the exposure time. I also used the GND 0.9 Red Diamond.
