My favorite photo from Tenerife. These wonderful weather conditions found me in the town of Garachico in the north of the island. I used a Red-Diamond Soft 0.9 filter to balance the light.

The photo is a panorama of 9 vertical frames, I took this photo during the photography workshops I was running. I took the photo in Cantabria, in a very famous place called Urros de Liencres. The photo is titled “Beautiful World” because this place is magical and I recommend it to everyone to visit it.

At Montforts Beach, after a day of miserable weather, the rain cleared just as the sun began setting. The sky lit up with vibrant colours, transforming the scene into a breathtaking display of nature’s beauty. It's moments like these which remind me why I love being a landscape photographer.

The best time to enjoy Rialto, the oldest and also the most crowded area in Venice, is early in the morning. Even quieter it is on a sunday morning. Before thousands of tourists start to do their thing in the city, it´s hard to imagine how busy, loud and stressful the streets around the most beautiful bridge in Venice, Ponte di Rialto, can be.
Luckily “la serenissima” is big enough to spend the rest of the day in the quiet and less crowded parts. Though I am not a big fan of too many people next to me, I have to jump into the crowds sometimes, to shoot some typical, famous buildings. Rialto-Bridge is too beautiful to ignore it permanently, so I challenge myself from time to time and take some photos of it from one of the countless, different angles, the bridge can get portrayed.
This perspective was still missing on my portfolio, so it was time to take a new version of it. And I am sure, I will come back to optimize the photo one day.
Because of the busy atmosphere I wanted to expose the photo with a minimum of 5 minutes, so boat traffic on the busy Canal Grande disappears as well as the masses of people who pass the bridge and the surrounded area all day long. because of this long exposure time every moving element is not visible anymore on the final picture. The ND 4.5 (15 Stops) is strong and dark enough to reach those longer times easily, so I chose this filter in combination with a Graduated Filter 0.9 soft. To create a balanced and perfect exposed photo the graduated filter (GND) darkens the bright sky very effective by putting it in front of the lense. Another great effect of a long exposure photography is the smooth water and the soft clouds which creates the unique look and this special minimalist effect.
